Original paintings by Juan Romero, based in San Diego, California. The work applies a Cubist logic to figures, animals and faces — analysing them into planes and reassembling them so nothing settles into a stable image. Colour carries the structure the drawing withholds. No prints, no editions; each canvas exists once.

Figures, animals and faces are pulled apart along hard edges and then held together by colour. Nothing sits still; every piece keeps refusing to resolve into a single, comfortable image — that tension is the work.

Made once. Owned once.

Every painting exists exactly once. There are no editions, no prints, no restocks. You are not buying a reproduction — you are taking the original. When a work is acquired it is gone for good.

That scarcity is the point. A one-of-one carries the full weight of the hand that made it, and it can belong to only one person.
